VirgoTwins, a duo consisting of Chicago natives Boricua Sandy (production) and Tomorrow Kings member Gilead7 (MCing), present "Unspoken," the first single of their upcoming Damn That Noise full-length release, ArtSpace. "Unspoken," featuring DJ Presyce of the legendary Chicago collective The Molemen and one-time Rhymesayers artist as a member of Mass Hysteria, showcases Gilead passionately and provocatively narrating two separate revelatory visions of the ancestors that came to him, the former of Noble Drew Ali, the founder of the Moorish Science Temple of America, and the latter of his paternal grandfather. In these esoteric states of becoming, the ancestors challenge the VirgoTwins' understandings of race, nationality, moral character, world history, and the pursuit of what Aristotle would call the "good life," bringing to the fore the "unspoken" subleties central to our ever-changing places in the universe. In line with fans of Killah Priest, Armand Hammer, Open Mike Eagle, R.A.P. Ferriera, and Eternia.
